Creation of a pedestrian walkway in the Amaradors-Lió sector of the Estany

September-December 2005 – Being a very frequented area, the creation of a new path to the sector is planned to divert visitors to a new path or route. The most important work scheduled includes, amongst others, the creation of a pedestrian route, the improvement of existing stretches of the path, a bridge over the Lió ditch, the placement of wooden struts and bolsters and the creation of stairs to access the lake ring road. All the entries opened will also be removed, the soil will be decompacted and vegetal earth will be provided to support the sowing of a natural meadow. These actions will always be environmentally-friendly. The action is valued at 29,926.84 € (subsidised by the Department of the Environment and Housing of the Generalitat de Catalunya).
